A totally open kitchen exposed into air, wind and landscape is the best moment of the building as same as the worst because of its backyard location. Without inviting the view of Mediterranean sea and the glorious sunshine, the kitchen without wall was hidden in the shadow of the clouds and the dark tone of the mountain. With a very open facade, the innocent salty smell from the sea is blowing through the whole inside... The movable screen is another best moment for its smart and elegant character. Openness and privacy, fixture and flexblility are the conflicts always had to be solved through perfect methods, However, open, flexible and changes are the growing trends including residential design.


Texture... colour... Unfortunately, known as a master of texture, Gray did not show her power in this villa, in my point of view. Metal, mirror, canvas, tiles, carpet, fur, concrete are cool, nice. However, tiles at everywhere actually doesn't match carpet very well. Tough versus smooth, great! But the reality is not as good as the concept. As for colour of inside space, I have to say it doesn't belong to my appreciation and have to say it is brave for Gray to choose such a colour scheme: red, green,blue. I'm trying to analyze  the pros and cons of it briefly... "a small mistake could be a disaster"or "it is powerful but be careful."
